How does Mobile Batching Plant Work
- Raw Material Delivery and Batching: The mobile batching plant has key equipment - an aggregate batching machine and a belt conveyor for transporting sand and gravel aggregates.
- Set the head and bracket of the belt conveyor on the aggregate, and the aggregate pre-feed hopper (to store the mixed and weighed aggregate). They discharge proportionally weighed aggregate into a concrete mixer.
- A concrete mixer is installed on the concrete batching plant platform, and various measuring devices are installed on the top. Cement, water, additives, etc. are weighed in proportion. After weighing, the mixture is delivered into the mixer and weighed together. The evenly mixed concrete can be unloaded directly onto a concrete truck for transportation.
AGICO Mobile Batching Plant Project
AGICO mobile concrete batching plant is equipped with JS series twin-shaft forced concrete mixing station, or in short concrete mixer, which can achieve high uniformity requirements and good productivity. However, a mobile batching plant is only suitable for projects with relatively low production requirements. Because of its mobility, the volume will be relatively small, and the hourly production will also be limited, generally between 20m3/h and 100m3/h.
Mobile Concrete Batching Plant Structure
The main structure of the mobile concrete batching plant is divided into 3 layers: the discharging layer, the mixing layer, and the batching weighing layer. The main part is a prefabricated steel frame structure, a lower "door"-shaped column, an aggregate silo, a cement silo and a concrete mixer platform.
- The batching plant is long with a simple cylindrical leg material layer, the reasonable layout has the benefits of convenient operation and maintenance. It includes hinge pins, providing a spacious layer lane and a simple, neat appearance, forms the whole system of concrete batching plant.
- Manufactured into a steel structure, the mobile batching plant platform is fabricated with a double variable cross-section and an I-shaped main beam. This perfect design provides superior weight, rigidity, and impact absorption compared to conventional structures. It forms an integrated layer, effectively reducing vibration from the concrete batching machine. The rectangular supporting legs are not only structurally simple but also spacious.
- The mobile batching plant contains 2 powder weighing hoppers (cement, fly ash): a water weighing hopper and a collection hopper for storing 2 liquid additives. It is equipped with high-precision weighing sensors for simple installation, easy adjustment, and reliable use. The powder-weighing pneumatic valve automatically controls the hopper outlet, and the inlet is softly connected and fully enclosed. The additive metering hopper is positioned at the water outlet, with a stainless steel ball valve located above the hopper for control.

Mobile Concrete Batching Plant Layout
Mobile concrete mixing stations can benefit customers in many ways: such as easy mobility, full automation, and small footprint. They have been developed into more advanced designs in recent years. Here is a basic introduction to the structure of mobile concrete mixing stations.
- Concrete Mixer: Mobile batching plants generally adopt JS-type forced mixers, which can quickly and evenly mix fluid and dry hard concrete.
- Host chassis: The main mixer's cantilevered chassis includes the towing pin and parking legs of the trailer truck. The mixer, cement, and water admixture weighing scales are located on the chassis. Additionally, inspection walkways and railings are installed around it.
- Peripheral Components: The external equipments are cement silo and screw conveyor. These 2 equipment are integral components whether in operation or transportation, and do not need to be disassembled, so they can be transported and disassembled separately.
- Belt conveyor rack: The frame is a truss structure connecting the main chassis and the aggregate batching frame, with a belt frame installed inside; the main frame, belt frame and batching frame are integrated into one to form the main structure.
- Control Room: The control room is located at the bottom of the main chassis and is a fully automatic control system. The control system is the same as that of a stationary batching plant. In production, the control room serves as the front support point. When it is required to be transported to another site, the control room can be folded up and stored in the space inside the bracket, and all its control lines do not need to be disassembled.
- Aggregate Batching Measurement: This system is located at the rear end of the batching plant. The upper part is the aggregate (sand, stone) storage hopper, and it can be divided into 2 or 4 compartments, and a heightening plate is set to increase the storage capacity. The pneumatic door is opened in sequence. Aggregate metering adopts a cumulative metering method for multiple materials. The bottom is equipped with a walking rear bridge and frame legs.
