What is a PLD Serie Aggregate Hopper or Weigh Batcher

PLD series aggregate hopper is an automatic batching equipment with weighing hopper. A piece of aggregate batching equipment uses a loader or belt conveyor to load materials. It can also be used together with cement silos and other equipment to build fully automatic and semi-automatic batching plants. The cost is only 1/2-1/3 of the concrete batching plant of the same specification. After pressing the batching button, the batching machine will start the automatic batching program.

Concrete Weighing and Batching Process

Take the production process of a 4-hopper concrete batching machine as an example:

  1. The material I belt conveyor starts working and transports material I to the weighing hopper. When the weight of the material I reach its set value, the material I belt conveyor stops automatically.
  2. Then the material II belt conveyor automatically starts. When the material weight in the weighing hopper reaches the set values of material I and material II, the material I belt conveyor stops and the material III belt conveyor starts working.
  3. After the 4 materials are prepared, the machine is in the state of waiting for discharge. At this time, press the discharge button, the discharge belt conveyor starts to work, and the prepared concrete dry material is discharged into the mixer hopper.
  4. When discharging is completed, the discharging belt conveyor stops automatically and automatically starts the second batching cycle.

PLD Aggregate Hopper is composed of the following main systems:

  • Feeding System: It consists of a storage hopper and a feeding device, which are generally arranged in a straight line. The loader loads the material, and its main function is to store the material. And under the control of the control system, the material is added to the weighing hopper. The feeding forms generally include: belt conveyor feeding and pneumatic feeding. Feeding system form: PLD800-1200 type, belt conveyor feeding;
  • Weighing System: The weighing system is the key part of the batching machine, which consists of a weighing hopper, a hanging device, a weighing system sensor, a batching controller, etc. The weighing form is lever + single sensor, and the measurement is accurate.
  • Electrical Control System: The electrical control system is the core part of the batching machine. Its function is to realize the weighing, display, operation and various automatic batching procedures of the whole batching machine. This system is mainly composed of the batching controller and the strong current circuit.
